Back in Florida

This was a man that said he loved Jesus. He was an alcoholic. He was lonely and had lost all hope. He was so drunk that we felt we needed to help him, he didn't have anywhere to stay. We bought him some food and called different places to try to find a shelter or church or somewhere he could get a bed and help to recover. Unfortunately we couldn't find anything and later we found out they don't have shelters in this area of Florida. Andreas spoke and prayed with him and we left him there, on the ground. 

Detta var en man som sa att han älskade Jesus. Han var alkoholist. Han var ensam och hade förlorat allt hopp. Han var så påverkad så vi kände att vi måste hjälpa honom, han hade ingenstans att bo. Vi köpte mat till honom och försökte ringa olika ställen för att hitta ett kristet ställe där han kunde få en säng för natten och ordentlig hjälp. Tyvärr fick vi inte tag i någon och senare fick vi reda på att det inte finns platser för hemlösa i denna delen av Florida. Andreas pratade med och bad för honom, och vi lämnade honom där, på marken.

After that we had the opportunity to visit some friends. We had a meal together, prayed for each other and shared life. What a blessing to meet brothers and sisters. We are so thankful for all the people around us that we can share life with and more important; Jesus!

Efter det hade vi möjligheten att besöka vänner. Vi åt tillsammans, bad för varandra och delade livet. Vilken välsignelse att möta bröder och systrar. Vi är såå tacksamma för alla människor runt oss som vi kan dela livet med, och ännu viktigare; Jesus!

Our children are strong in the Lord. They are reading the word continually every day and taking time in prayer every day to seek and honor God. We are happy to be together all five of us, to encourage each other, live life together and have a lot of fun meanwhile :-)

Våra barn är starka i Herren. Dom läser Bibeln mest hela tiden och tar tid i bön varje dag för att söka och ära Gud. Vi är så tacksamma att vi kan vara tillsammans alla fem, för att uppmuntra varandra, leva livet tillsammans och ha en massa kul under tiden :-)

We also met Bill. Bill, what a man! We wish we had more time with Bill. He had so much to tell, so much that we wanted to learn. He started to evangelize with his 40 friends in the 90's because they saw the need of spreading the truth about Jesus to the lost people. They went out every day and they still do. Out of that Jesus built his church. Today they are 20 000 members. They were led by the Holy Spirit, they walked by faith, and it was possible!

Vi träffade också Bill. Bill, vilken man! Vi önskar vi hade mer tid att tala med Bill. Han hade så mycket att berätta, så mycket för oss att lära. Han började evangelisera med sina 40 vänner på 90 talet för att de såg behovet av att sprida sanningen om Jesus till de förlorade. De var ute varje dag och är det fortfarande. Utifrån det byggde Jesus sin kyrka. Idag är de 20 000 medlemmar. De var ledda av den Helige Ande, de gick i tro, och det fungerade!

The last days we have been in a such an awesome fellowship in Florida. Last time we were here there was a young woman that were listening when we spoke here in the home about Jesus and the gospel. She said at that time she wasn't ready. When we have been away, our friend here has watered and continued to disciple this woman, and now when we came back she was ready to give up her old life and give it all over. She wanted to be baptized.

We had a glorious day. After church service we met in the home we are staying and had a teaching for the people that came. We then had the baptism and after that communion and prayers where we prophesied over the young people. Let us now continue to walk, and grow, and worship! Praise Jesus!

De sista dagarna har vi varit i ett underbart fellowship i Florida. Sist vi var här var det en ung kvinna som lyssnade när vi berättade om Jesus och evangeliet här där vi bor. Då sa hon att hon inte var redo. när vi har varit härifrån nu en tid, har vår vän som bor här fortsatt att vattna och undervisa denna kvinnan, och nu när vi kom tillbaka var hon redo att ge upp sitt gamla liv och ge allt över till Jesus. Hon ville döpa sig.

Vi hade en underbar dag igår. Efter kyrkan på fm möttes vi i här hemma och hade en undervisning för de som kom. Sedan döpte vi henne och efter det nattvard och bön där vi profeterade över de unga som var här. Låt oss nu fortsätta att gå, växa, och prisa Herren!!
